“For some people, art is a finished canvas or sculpture. To me, art lies within the process of transforming an idea into a tangible thing that others can experience. I’m fascinated by so much of the art world. I love learning about how art supplies are made and tested. I’m particularly interested in learning about how others see the world through their creative lens and then bring those ideas to life. I am inspired by the juxtapositions of shape and color in the various things I see on a daily basis.”

Chaz Thomas is a self-taught artist currently living in New Jersey. His work focuses on translating ideas or words into abstract paintings that focus on color, shapes, and direction.
